How does it work?

We are a new social events group organising nights and days out in London. Our events are open to everybody who feels they will have a good time coming along and meeting new people. Sometimes we ask you to book a ticket (that's because we have made a reservation for a show and have to limit numbers or have to pay a deposit in a restaurant), sometimes you can just show up and join in.

What are the costs involved?

There is no membership fee. You just pay if and when an event interests you. And the good news is that some events are free. Just watch out for them in the Events Calendar.  

What is the age range?

The answer to that question is that if you feel you would enjoy a certain event then you are very welcome to join. As events are organised in bars other venues the minimum age has to be 18.

What should I wear?

Definitely something you feel comfortable in. As normally our events are held in a bar or restaurant you can't go wrong if you are going for a smart casual look. Some people come straight from work and come in a suit. Should there be a specific dress code like black tie or fancy dress we will of course mention that in the event description.

Do many people come on their own?

Well, of course, the whole concept is aiming at people like you who are new to London and would like to make new friends. You can of course bring people along, but generally people tend to make the most of the event when they come on their own. 

How do I stay in touch with other guests?

If suitable (like in a bar, restaurant etc) we will have contact cards on the tables for you to exchange numbers/emails etc. Due to the nature of the event this may not always be possible (in a theatre or on a day trip), but your host will always aim to carry a number of contact cards and a pen - just ask.

Where is my ticket?

We usually don't sent tickets out, but keep a guest list at the door. For ticketed events your host will pick them up at the box office on the night.
